What exactly do you do?

We send data into space for a variety of reason. It may be that you want to immortalize your words or thoughts or pictures. It may be that you wish to send a poem or song of a loved one into space so that it "lives on" forever. It may be that you want to transmit a welcome or "hello" message in hopes some alien civilization will intercept and read or listen to it. The possibilties are many.


How does this work?

Using our website, you type in (or upload) what you would like sent into space. If this is a gift for someone, you enter that person's information as well. We send your message to our commercial, carrier-grade transmitter and it then sends it into space at specific intervals throughout the day. Once sent, you will receive an email with a link to download a Certificate of Interstellar Transmission suitable for framing.


How far can my message travel?

Your message can travel trillions and trillions of miles -- virtually forever. The limit is only the size of the universe.


How fast does my message travel?

Messages transmitted into space by our uplink facility travel at the speed of light which is 186,000 miles per second. That means in 1 hour, your message will have traveled over 669 million miles; in one day, over 16 billion miles; and in one year, over 5.8 trillion miles!


How much does this all cost?

The cost for this virtual immortality begins at only $19.95. There are other options available for mailed certificates on wooden plaques as well as brushed aluminum plaques with various sundries included.


What types of payments do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express and Paypal. Of course, if you prefer to send a check or money order to us, that is quite acceptable as well, although your transmission cannot be sent until that payment arrives and is processed.


Can I order by mail instead of online?

Yes. For those that prefer to order by postal mail, please click here to download this form. Fill it out and mail it in along with your preferred payment method. We will then process and fullfill your order. Instructions for submitting data are included.


Are your forms for accepting my information secure?

Yes. Our secure online ordering forms are using SSL encrypted technology to ensure your information is safe and totally confidential.


What is your privacy policy?

We will not give, exchange, trade, sell or otherwise disclose any of the information provided to us by you to anyone! All information that we collect with our website is strictly for our own use in producing, billing for and shipping your message(s) into space, and our certificates to you. We do not send unsolicited mail or e-mail (spam). Our web site logs only contain information regarding IP addresses and their dates and times of access to our web site. Our log files are used strictly to determine server order system performance and to track suspicious activity. There is no way for that information to be obtained by any one outside Talk2ETs, LLC. None of the data logged contains any information by which to identify or track our clients, our visitors, nor their shopping habits.


What does a Transmission Certificate look like?

There are a three different designs:

Standard	A certificate in a downloadable & printable .PDF format.
Advanced	A printed certificate set on a wooden Plaque and mailed to you.
Elite	The certificate embossed on a Brushed Aluminum plate and set in a Mahogany plaque. This option includes an " I Talk to ETs " Baseball Cap and Coffee Mug.

What if my transmission is not in English?

That is not a problem. Feel free to type your message in any language you feel comfortable in and that is exactly what we will send.
